With flashing lights and pulsing tones, you gently and safely bring the brain into various states of mind.
This is what is commonly known as brainwave entrainment.
Additionally, these brainwave patterns are typically grouped into four different categories: Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta. Each of these brainwave patterns is associated with various states of mind.
Relaxation, meditation, learning, peak performance, stress reduction and deeper sleep are some of the reasons why people worldwide are using Mind Devices.
Amazing visual effects can be produced, including the illusion of complex, shifting geometrical imagery. Imagine a world of pure, jewel-like color illuminating your visual and mental fields. .
Consequently, this imagery can be so compelling that the mind clears of extraneous thoughts and distractions and other stresses of daily life. In this way, the Theta Technologies’ Mind Technology is a form of meditation.
Theta’s Galaxy device is an ideal platform for AudioStrobe decoding allowing you to utilize many commercial music CDs or software applications.
AudioStrobe technology uses an inaudible signal embedded in music tracks to trigger the lights in perfect synchronization with the audio.
The Mind’s Eye, the Galaxy’s big brother, uses Polysync. This is a technology similar to Audiostrobe, with the exception that it first downloads the program before playing it.
Mind machines typically consist of a control unit, a pair of headphones and/or strobe light goggles. The unit controls the sessions and drives the LEDs in the goggles.
Professionally, they are usually referred to as Auditory Visual Stimulation Devices (AVS devices).
One session normally takes between 15 and 60 minutes. During a session, the user should be relaxed, the glasses placed on the eyes comfortably which should be closed during the whole session.
These devices have pre-programmed sessions which vary in parameters like light brightness, audio pitch or beat frequency.
Today, the 2 Light and Sound devices , the Mind’s Eye and the Galaxy, are the most consumer friendly and easy to use Sound and Light devices available.
Theta Technologies, co-owned by Richard Daab and Michael Stevens, has been selling light and sound devices since 1991. The first light and sound device in the Theta product line was the 36-program Voyager (which has evolved into the Mind’s Eye).
Theta’s research and development in the 90s, which included partnering with many of the world’s leaders in neurotechnology, helped establish light and sound as the effective, safe and affordable means of self development it is today.
