Plucking Season: Early Summer
The rich, full-bodied flavor of this green tea is offset by the sweet and delicate aroma of jasmine. Grown organically in Vietnam, the tea leaves are scented naturally with organic jasmine flowers.
Jasmine green tea’s popularity in Asia rivals that of Earl Grey in the West. Jasmine (Jasminum) is a genus of shrubs and vines with about 200 species, native to tropical and warm temperate regions.
The flowers are strongly and sweetly scented, and blossom in spring and summer in most species.
Note: Jasmine Tea with its sweet scent makes a surprisingly refreshing iced tea, perfect for those hot summer days.
