That time of year is upon us, the dreaded cold and flu season.
In this brief post, I’ll share with you my secret of making it through this season intact.
Medicinal Mushroom usage has been exploding. There are now many companies, and several forms of mushrooms to choose from, all of which can be a bit confusing.
You can choose from: capsules, powders, tinctures. Most of these companies would have you believe that a few hundred milligrams of their product will suffice but that is simply not true. The exception is when you might be in a low dose maintenance cycle.
The therapeutic dosage for fighting colds and flu is 5 grams, 2-4 times a day. For most of the product lines available, this would prove prohibitively expensive for you, as well as challenging when you look at the number of capsules you would have to consume in a day. If you are looking at tinctures, the dosage would be 1 teaspoon 2-4 times daily. Tinctures are great but I do believe you will encounter the same problem, cost wise.
This leads to my personal preference–organic mushroom powders, in bulk. Much more affordable, great bio-availability and easily adjustable dosage.
The Formula —
This formula contains potent antiviral, antibiotic, and anti-oxident Mushrooms. In addtion, another is a powerful energy (Qi) booster (no, not like caffeine).
You will need 1 small pack (5.2 oz) each of the following:
(Clicking on the blue hyperlinks below will transport you the detailed product description page.)
Empty the 4 packs in a bowl and mix well. When done, refill the ziplock packs. This way you will have 4 convenient foil travel packs.
1 tsp daily, in 1 cup warm water.
1 tsp, 2-4 times daily, in warm to hot water.
for example, if traveling by air, take 1 dose before the leaving for the airport and one dose when you arrive at your destination. Long flight? take a dose 1/2 way through the flight.
If have just returned for shopping and think you may have been exposed to the cold or flu, take 1 dose of the formula.
